Art and Miniature Commissions
Thank you for interest in my art. This is the commissions page. Currently, I am only taking commissions for paintings or D&D miniatures only. I do not currently paint warhammer armies. Be sure to check out my portfolio and about me sections to get a feel for me and my work before submitting an application for a commission. As the artist I have the right to decline if the project is not suitable for my talent, my morals or my time.
The Process
When you send in your application I will need to know details on what you want. The application should cover the majority of the questions and anything further we will discuss via email. Once we get everything worked out by email, I require a 50% non refundable deposit to ensure we are both committed to the process and allow me to purchase any materials I will need for your project. I will send you a custom invoice to be paid before work begins. I will send you a sketch to be approved and will begin your project. I will send you photo updates throughout the process to make sure we share the same vision. No major structural changes will be allowed once painting begins, but I will allow minor tweaks in direction. The balance will be required to be paid in full before the painting ships, this includes any carrier calculated shipping charges. If you are local we can make other arrangements. Your painting will be packed securely for shipping, and insured for its value. Shipping accidents happen so if damage or loss occur, contact me and we can work through it together. Custom paintings and miniatures are subject to Maryland State sales tax if you are in state and I provide the item. Painting services for miniatures sent to me are not subject to tax in Maryland. At this time other states are non taxable as I don't have nexus in your state. Currently, I do not ship outside of the US.
Custom Canvas Paintings
Portraits, Fantasy, Botanical
Do you have something special you want painted? I specialize in high detail botanical paintings and portraits. I can do traditional portraits and fantasy character portraits. If you have a photo of someone (with their permission) and want to make them an elf character I can do that. I can do full realism or partial realism with an animation flare. High detail, well lit reference photos are a must have for realism. The more detail I can see, the more I can paint. I am not a digital artist, I am a traditional oil painter. If you are looking for cheap stylized character art of your party I am not your artist. If you are looking for a physical heirloom piece or a special gift, I am your artist.
Portfolio
The rate for oil paintings on standard back stapled canvas is $2.00/sq inch of canvas. Gallery wrapped thick canvas can be requested at a rate of $2.25/sq inch. All custom paintings are unframed. Oil paint does not dry like acrylic paint. Oil paintings have a long cure time to prevent cracking and allow for proper varnishing. These will need a lead time of 6 months.

Perhaps acrylic fits your project better. The rate for these is $1.00/sq inch. Acrylic dries within minutes, but it generally does not lend to the ultra smooth blending you can get from oils. I can use an open acrylic if you want a look close to oils, which dries a bit slower. Lead time for these is project dependant with minimum lead time being 2 months to avoid life's unexpected ups and downs.

Custom Miniature Painting:
Custom D&D Character Miniatures, Monster Models, Custom Painted Game Pieces
Do you have a bunch of grey shame? Send me your minis and I will paint them. Assembly of metal minis +$20. All prices include a painted base and matte varnishing. High detail basing with 3D elements would be $15 add on. If you would like satin or gloss varnishing, it can be requested. Anything that would normally look wet will get gloss varnish by default. All minis will be signed on the bottom.
Character Minis
Starting at $40 (depending on size, quantity and detail)
($35 if you send me the mini.) If you have an existing character portrait I can match this, within the limitations of the model.
Monster Minis
Starting at $10 (depending on size, quantity, detail ex. quarter sized mimic vs full sized Tiamat)

Regular animals: Wolves, etc... $25.00 ($20 if you send me the mini)
People Monsters: Hags, Lich's, orcs etc... $40 ($35 if you send me the mini)
Low Level mosters: Ropers, etc... $45.00 ($40 if you send me the mini)
Boss Mosters: Treants, Young Dragons, etc... $75.00 ($60 if you send me the mini)
Big Boss Monsters: Giants, Beholders etc...$100.00 ($75 if you send me the mini)
Epic Boss Mosters: Adult Dragons, Aspect of Tiamat: $250 ($175 if you send me the mini)
Legendary Boss Monsters: Tarasque, Full sized Tiamat $550.00 ($200 if you send me the mini)
Scenery Minis
Starting at $20 (depending on size, quantity, detail) This area is vast so lets discuss your project.
Battle Boards
I offer custom game boards on canvas board. The rate for these is $.75/ sq inch. Send me the layout and idea and I can paint it up for you. Gridded or ungridded.

Terms of Service
Gerneral Terms
Scope of the Work: The artist agrees to create the custom work described in the project briefing and is reflected on the final invoice.
Acceptance: Paying the deposit means the client agrees to the project details as well as these terms.
Communication: All changes or project notes must go through the agreed-upon email or communication channels.
Payment and Pricing
Deposit: Client must pay a 50% non-refundable deposit before work begins.
Final Payment: The client pays the remaining 50% balance before the product is shipped or picked up.
Currency and Fees: All prices are in USD. The client pays for any trasfer or platform fees.
Revisions and Process
Updates: The artist will share updates at the sketch and base color stages.
Included Revisions: Two minor revisions are free during the sketch phase. Major sketch changes after the first sketch approval will be $20.00 per instance.
Copyright and Usage
Artist Rights: The artist keeps all copyrights to the artwork. This includes the right to post it in porfolios or print it for self promotion.
Client Rights: The client gets a personal, non-commericial licence to display the final piece in person or online for personal use.
Commercial Use: If the client want commercial rights they must buy a separate commerical license agreement for original art only.
Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellation by Client: If the client cancels before work starts, they get a full refund minus deposit rules. If canceled mid-project, the deposit is kept by the artist, and the client pays and additional 25% for time already spent.
Cancellation by Artist: If the artist cancels due to an emergency, they will refund the full deposit immediately.
Refunds: All custom work is final sale and refunds are not accepted.
